These are strategically timed across different times of day (including evenings or weekends) to maximise the chance of finding the person at home. These include discreet enquiries with neighbours to help confirm the debtor's residence at the address for service, along with the delivery of a letter of appointment if applicable.

  • Outcome: We will either achieve personal service and provide a Certificate of Service, or if the individual is evasive, we will provide a detailed witness statement of our attempts to support your application for substituted service.

Serving a Statutory Demand on a Company

This requires precision, thoroughness, and an understanding of corporate law.

  • Process: Our service begins by verifying that the registered office address is active via Companies House. We then undertake one dedicated attempt at service during normal business hours. If we cannot meet personally with a director or other authorised person, we execute a comprehensive service procedure:​​

  • A copy of the demand is securely left in the main reception area, if available. 

  • Further copies are deposited into any available mailboxes for the company.

  • Consideration is given to affixing a further copy, enclosed in a sealed, clear envelope, to a prominent part of the building, such as the main entrance door.

  • Outcome: We provide a Certificate of Service confirming the time, date, and detailing every action taken to bring the demand to the company's attention, giving you definitive proof of service.
